Going back to iMessage´s failure to notify users when sending a message fails, Apple has yet to offer any specific information about exactly when the fix for this would be released. Also still unconfirmed, is whether this fix would be rolled into other updates for recently discovered problems – including a Siri lockscreen bug identified over the weekend with the most recent iOS 7.0.2 update. Another serious lockscreen security issue identified, which became known only hours after iOS 7 was initially released, was a bug that allowed anyone to bypass the iPhone lockscreen and gain access to the user’s photos and contacts. Fortunately though, this too was resolved in the iOS 7.0.2 update but users will still be paying close attention to any announcements coming out about the iMessage and other bug fixes which are said to have affected an estimated 2 million users.
